Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim SMZ-TMP (Sulfamet5hoxazole and Trimethoprim) is a broad spectrum antibiotic in liquid form indicated for the treatment of many types of infections including protozoan, skin, urinary tract and gastrointestinal tract in multiple species. Provide animal being treated with plenty of fresh water to prevent crystals from forming in the urine.This product requires a prescription. Brand may vary on this item - CAUTIONS/WARNINGS:Caution: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Cats will drool excessively if allowed to taste the medication. Warning: Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals. Not for use in animals with dehydration; bladder or kidney stones; or liver or kidney disease. Use with caution in animals with blood cell abnormalities such as anemia. Pets should be encouraged to drink water to prevent crystals from forming in the urine. Keep out of reach of children and animals. All prescription items are Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable. - DIRECTIONS:Dosage varies by species, weight of animal, and type of infection being treated. Always follow the directions for dosing and administration from your veterinarian. Shake well before dosing.
