San Francisco Bay Brand® Fish Eggs are pure frozen capelin eggs (Mallotus villosus) that provide a highly nutritious natural food for a wide variety of aquatic organisms. Fish eggs are naturally consumed by many freshwater and marine tropical fish and provide valuable marine proteins, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.
Naturally high in marine-derived Omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA, these fish eggs provide nutritional variety while helping support overall health and conditioning. They contain no dyes or preservatives, making them a simple, natural addition to a balanced aquarium feeding program.
Their small size and natural appeal make Fish Eggs particularly useful for finicky fish and filter-feeding invertebrates. They can also help wean fish away from live foods and are useful for conditioning broodstock. Because the eggs can be consumed by both fish and invertebrates, they are an excellent choice for mixed reef aquariums.
Recommended for
Reef inhabitants including Anemones, Corals, Scallops, Shrimp, Anthias, Butterflyfish, Clownfish, Gobies, Mandarins, and Pygmy Angelfish. Feed only what can be consumed within approximately three minutes. No thawing or rinsing is required.
