Griseofulvin Suspension RX only For Use in Dogs, Cats, Guinea Pigs, Horses, Rabbits and Rodents Griseofulvin Suspension is an anti-fungal drug given to dogs or cats with fungal infections of the skin and hair coat or claws, such as ringworm. May also be used for horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and rodents. Prescription items are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-RETURNABLE. (California law requires this warning to be given to customers in the state of California) For more information go to http://www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. - CAUTIONS/WARNINGS:For Animal Use Only Keep Out Of Reach Of Children Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. - DIRECTIONS:Shake well before use. The usual dose is 25 mg per pound (50 mg/kg) every 24 hours orally. It is important to complete the full course of treatment prescribed by your veterinarian even if your pet shows signs of improvement. Fungal infections may require several weeks of treatment. Administer directly into the mouth using a dosing syringe or mixed with a small amount of food. Give this medication to your pet exactly as your veterinarian prescribes. Give medication in combination in food. Store Griseofulvin Suspension at room temperature, between 68 and 77°F (20 and 25°C). Brief storage at temperatures between 59 and 86°F (15 and 30°C) is permitted. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. - INGREDIENTS:Each 5 mL of Griseofulvin Suspension contains 125 mg of Griseofulvin microsize and also contains the following inactive ingredients: artificial flavors, carboxymethyl cellulose sodium, dl-alpha-tocopherol, FD&C red #40, FD&C yellow #6, glycerin, hydrochloric acid, methylparaben, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol, propylparaben, simethicone emulsion, sodium alginate, sodium hydroxide, sodium lauryl sulfate and sucrose. - HEIGHT(INCHES): 1.000 - WIDTH(INCHES):1.000 - LENGTH(INCHES):1.000
