San Francisco Bay Brand® Freeze-Dried Brine Shrimp is an all-natural, protein-rich food suitable for freshwater fish, marine fish, and invertebrates. Brine shrimp are readily recognized as a natural food source by aquarium inhabitants, making them an excellent choice for everyday feeding and for fish that may be reluctant to accept other prepared foods.
Brine shrimp naturally contain high levels of marine-derived proteins and carotenoids as a result of continuously filter-feeding on microalgae, diatoms, and halophilic bacteria. These nutrients help provide the energy and nutrition fish need to maintain overall wellness.
The freeze-dried format combines the nutritional appeal of brine shrimp with the convenience and storage benefits of dry food. It is easy to digest, which can help produce less waste and keep the aquarium cleaner. When fed as directed, the food is also designed not to cloud aquarium water.
Recommended for
Freshwater species including Tetras, Guppies, Mollies, Gouramis, and Swordtails, as well as saltwater species including Marine Angelfish, Clownfish, Gobies, Damselfish, and Blennies.
Instructions
Feed often but only what your fish can consume in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. Store the unused portion covered in the jar in a cool-dry place.
