Product Description
Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim antibiotics are designed to counter a variety of bacterial infections in pets. Its ingredients fight against infections in your pet’s urinary tracts, respiratory systems, gastrointestinal areas, skin, and much more. Since these conditions can lead to great pain and discomfort in your pets, it is important to identify the cause and get appropriate treatment for them right away. This is an oral antibiotic for pets, and it can be mixed with food during feeding time. SMZ-TMP Rx is a veterinarian-prescribed medication. Be sure to follow your vet’s instructions when using SMZ-TMP Rx. - CAUTIONS/WARNINGS:Caution: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Cats will drool excessively if allowed to taste the medication. Warning: Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals. Not for use in animals with dehydration; bladder or kidney stones; or liver or kidney disease. Use with caution in animals with blood cell abnormalities such as anemia. The pet should be encouraged to drink water to prevent crystals from forming in the urine. Keep out of reach of children and animals. All prescription items are Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable. - DIRECTIONS:Dosage varies by species, weight of animal, and type of infection being treated. Always follow the directions for dosing and administration from your veterinarian. Note: Provide animal being treated with plenty of fresh water to prevent crystals from forming in the urine. Note: Use all of the medication prescribed, even if your pet appears well. If the entire course of treatment is not given, the infection may recur or worsen.
