It also functions as a biological filtration system, allowing water to be recirculated for use in waterfalls and drippers.

Optional: Use with Exo-Terra BioDrain Terrarium Draining Mesh to keep BioDrain substrate separated from decorative top-layer substrate.

Note: For enhanced biological filtration, use with Exo-Terra Bio Clean (formerly known as Biotize).
